My name is Jennifer Foster and I am the owner / groomer of On The Spot Mobile Dog Grooming.  

My grooming career started in 1994 when I became employed by Concordia Veterinary Clinic.  I started as a receptionist but wanted to know more about a small and large animal hospital.   I learned to clean kennels, manage inventory, and assist veterinarians.  After a year or so I started shaving dogs but wanted to learn more about the proper way to groom dogs.  I read books and attended grooming conferences to expand my knowledge.   I also purchased a registered miniature schnauzer so I could practice even more.   Soon, grooming became a permanent part of my job description.   I worked at Concordia Veterinary Clinic for nearly 12 years and am so thankful for the knowledge I gained while working there.   I enjoyed grooming so much that I decided to start my own business and go mobile.  

I continue to attend grooming conferences at least once a year to further my education on the latest grooming styles and products.   I strive to provide the best groom and experience for my furry clients and I feel staying educated in my profession is vital.
